REWIND TRAUMA THERAPY
Carol offers a therapy called Rewind Trauma Therapy for those who are disturbed by unwanted memories or feelings, associated with a traumatic experience, or experiences, either from their immediate or historical past.
The symptoms of trauma can include flashbacks, nightmares and ruminations and/or recall due to external triggers such as places, smells, sounds, time of year or other experiences. Rewind Trauma Therapy may form a part of on-going psychotherapy or can be a set of a few sessions arranged entirely for the purpose of healing the symptoms of trauma.

WHAT IS REWIND TRAUMA THERAPY?
This is a technique that has been described as "closure without disclosure". It is not necessary for the person to talk about the trauma itself or to risk being re-traumatised and relies on an imaginal technique that is easy to master.
WHAT IS THE AIM OF REWIND THERAPY?
The aim is permanently to stop distressing, involuntary recall and its associated feelings so that the memory no longer feels toxic or disturbing.
